90 OVR

Rodri (CDM), Dembélé (ST), Vitinha (CM), Kane (ST), Olise (RM), Pedri (CM), Lamine Yamal (RW), Courtois (GK) and Bellingham (CAM) — nine players tied at 90, the single biggest cluster on the list.

89 OVR

Gabriel (CB), Donnarumma (GK), Bruno Fernandes (CAM), Kvaratskhelia (LW), Nuno Mendes (LB), Pacho (CB), Messi (CAM) and Vini Jr. (LW).

88 OVR

Oblak (GK), Rice (CDM), Saliba (CB), van Dijk (CB), Hakimi (RB), João Neves (CM), Kimmich (CDM) and Díaz (LM) round out the top 27.

Women's ratings, in brief

EA's same reveal names Alexia Putellas at 91 OVR as the women's top-rated player, with Aitana Bonmatí and Khadija Shaw both at 90 and Mariona at 89. Two of the bigger risers called out by name: Yui Hasegawa and Hannah Hampton, both up 3 points from FC 26. A fuller women's list is expected as EA's daily reveal schedule continues.

One more riser worth flagging on the men's side: EA specifically called out Olise as up 4 points to reach his 90 OVR — one of the largest jumps of anyone in the top 27.

Ratings reveal schedule — every league

Today's top 27 was just the headline act. EA is rolling out the full ratings database league-by-league over the next few weeks:

Tue Aug 18: BWSL, Premier League, Bundesliga, Frauen-Bundesliga.
Wed Aug 19: Serie A, Liga F, La Liga, SPL.
Thu Aug 20: D1 Arkema, Ligue 1, NWSL, MLS, Liga MX.
Fri Aug 21: Süper Lig, then the full base Item Database (without PlayStyles) goes live for everyone.
Thu Sep 10: the full base Item Database gets its post-transfer-deadline update, PlayStyles included.

Destined for Glory: FUT's first fan-voted campaign

From August 21 to September 10, FC 27's opening Ultimate Team campaign lets the community vote for the players they think will have the biggest impact this season. The votes decide the first Destined for Glory squad, and those Player Items get live in-game upgrades tied to real-world performance — vote via the EA Sports FC 27 Ratings Database on a player's page.

Release date & pre-order

FC 27 launches worldwide on September 25, 2026 across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Switch and Switch 2, with Ultimate/Ultimate Plus Edition early access from September 18. Pre-ordering Ultimate or Ultimate Plus by August 31 includes an untradeable 85+ OVR International ICON Player Item for FUT.
